Hello, it's me, Jonathan Loiterman..

Sunbear Interactive is my solo development project, making retro-style games with modern design and technology: retro-reimagined. Picofender is my first serious effort as a game developer at 41 years old.  If you're a fan of 1980s arcade shooters, I think you'll enjoy it. 

Although I'm new as a game developer, I try to pass on what I know about coding and building games. Solopongo and some of the other small projects here are part of an intro to game development course I've been working on for my local makerspace and school district. 

Game development skills are pretty far flung from my formal training and experience, but I want to bring a fresh perspective to game-making, especially in the realms of blending retro and modern designs and games involving the law and lawyers.
